Grab your blankets and lawn chairs, pack your picnic basket and come hear some terrific music under a beautiful Forest Park sunset! Birds singing in the warm, rose-scented evenings signal it’s time for the summer Whitaker Music Festival. The open-air festival presents free Wednesday evening concerts under the stars every June through August.

Tickets Remain for Food and Beverage Event Benefiting Angels Arms

What: Dierbergs Des Peres’ lower-level parking garage will be filled with wine, beer and BBQ this Saturday evening at the Sip & Savor event to benefit Angels’ Arms, a local charity serving foster families.

Sip & Savor guests can sample from 238 wines, spirits and beers and enjoy finger foods from Dierbergs Kitchen, Pi Pizza and other local restaurants.

Who: The event is open to the public. Tickets are available for $50 through angelsarms.org or at Dierbergs Des Peres Courtesy Center.

T#STL MEET THE SMURFS THIS WEEKEND!

WHAT: In support of their return to the big screen this July in The Smurfs™ 2, Papa Smurf, Smurfette and Clumsy Smurf are embarking on a tour across America and are bringing the Smurfs Village with them! From Saturday, June 8th – Sunday, June 9th, the trio will visit St. Louis with the pop-up village, which features inflatable mushroom houses, an Eiffel Tower slide, a photo station and activities. Fans young and old will be able to meet the Smurfs! The Smurfs Village event is free to the public & fun for the whole family.
