POSTED IN: Pay it Forward

The Girls Scouts of Eastern Missouri will begin the April Showers Bag Distribution on April 8th!

If you need to clear out a little room in that stockpile of yours and give to a worthy cause, now is the time to do it!
.
If you are not familiar with the Girl Scout April Showers event, basically what happens is on April 8th, 9th & 10th…the Girl Scouts will come around door to door and drop of a bag that you can fill with Personal Care and Baby Products (such as deoderant, toothpaste, toilet paper, baby wipes, etc) and on Saturday, April 16th, you place the filled bag on your front porch and they will collect up the items you are donating and give them to charity!

I wish my local Girl Scouts did this! I make personal care packages for seniors at Christmas but I would have loved to donate to the Girl Scouts.

I am thrilled to see this on your website!!!! I have three daughters in scouts and I am highly involved as well…I am an avid coupon-er and I visit your site several times a day…You are truly a blessing and I am grateful for the knowledge and info you pay FWD!!!!

This event collects all items that food stamps do not cover….I wish the extreme coupon-ers had the knowledge of April showers, instead od stockpiling 40 yrs of deodorant!!! the gentleman donated the cereal though,,,Have a blessed day
