By now you know I have 2 kids, but what you don’t know is that I’d been overweight after having my son 5 years ago. I just never took the time to try and get rid of the excess weight that I gained when I was pregnant…kept eating the same and all. After a few medical issues, I decided enough was enough and at the end of 2012, I decided to change. It hasn’t been easy. I began eating healthy and clean and began working out frequently. This is why I paused with posting recipes because I wasn’t sure what to post! Fortunately I now have a small arsenal of clean and yummy recipes (a balance is always good right?!?) to share, which I’ve already begun to do! I’ve also shared with you the Couponing Basics- You CAN Buy Healthy on a Budget…Here’s HOW post to hopefully show you that you can eat healthy and still maintain a budget!
My struggle continues as I’m continuing my mission into 2014 to get fit! I’m a work in progress, but my hope is that by me documenting this journey, I can see how far I’ve come and also hold myself accountable even more now that I have put it out there!
I hope to be an inspiration to some and also hope that some of you will chime in and join me! I’d love to have open discussions about weight loss and becoming fit to learn more about you and vice versa!
