ONLINE COUPONS SWAP
Dollar General has some good deals this week. Tostitos salsa for $2 and use the $1 off from the Moments to Save insert makes them $1 a jar. Also they have Frenches Worchestershire sauce for $1 and there was a $.75 Q in the SS this week which made them $.25 each!
I bought the Smore combo at Walgreens 2 for $6, the 6 pack chocolate bars, and Honey Grahams, and u get a Free bag of Marshmallows. I used the $1 off coupon in the paper then I got a free Hershey bar using the buy 1 get 1 free Hershey coupon, and I used the .50 coupon out of the monthly walgreens coupon book. I paid $4.50 for all four items.

Dollar general in Troy Missouri
just got 2 five packs of zest soap fo free. They had a few packs marked on clearance for $1.00 and I had 2 $1.00 off coupons so I got them both for free!! Sweet deal!!!
Wentzville Walgreens (pearce/parkway) had dulcolax 3.99 on clearance and I used my $4 coupons= FREE
At Walgreens the Garnier frutis deal was $5.99 or $5.49 for a 24.5 oz bottle of shampoo or conditioner. But at the Walgreens on Mexico Loop they had two 24oz bottles of shampoo that were marked down to $3.59 each and they still qualified for the $5RR. So I used two $1/1 coupons and got two large bottles for $0.18!!
Coors Light Rebate at Schnucks – hanging in beer aisle. $15 rebate off $100+ purchase….Beer purchase NOT required.
I got some great deals at dollar general yesterday. I got 2 bottles of French’s worchesteshire (sp?) sauce for $.25 with my $.75 off coupons. Also, I scored two 20 ct. packs of Always pantiliners for FREE…they were $1.00 and I had 2 $1.00 off coupons. Another freebie…I had a $1.00 off Oral B toothbrush and found some brushes for $1.00 and I had a $2.00 off Reach coupon and their 2 pack Reach tooth brushes were priced at $2.00. So all of that…FIFTY cents. I love free stuff.

Schnucks had their Heinz ketchup on sale for 1.79. I had the 2.00 off coupon from coupons.com a couple weeks ago plus stacked it with the $10 off $50…. it was free plus overage!! I spent $52.69 and paid $12.63… not too bad!!!!!
Has anyone ever done a $5 off a $25 purchase at Dollar General? Is the $25 total reached before or after coupons? Thanks!

You get the $5.00 off $25.00 1st, then they take your coupons after that. (When they 1st started it stated not to be used with other coupons) Make sure check to see if it says that on the coupon OR if other coupons states not be used with other coupon you try to use they will not be able ring up.Just make sure you read the coupon before trying to use them with this deal.s Some coupons have remarks like only x amount can be used at a time,too. That’s when you break your transactions up,from 1 to as many as you need to use the coupons.Hope this helps.

so I purchased the refills at $3.00 but had another coupon for -3.00

Walgreens is selling select cereals for $1.75 each. There was a $2/3 coupon from the “Momemnts to Save” insert that applied to Cap N Crunch, net price $1.08 each if you only bought Cap N Crunch.
I just used that same coupon to buy Life cereal yesterday for the same price. Good deal.
At Walgreens they have Gillette Deodorant on sale for B1G1. So I used a B1G1 off Gillette Deodorant that I had from a few weeks ago. So I got them both free. Plus the coupon says up to $4.99, my Walgreens didn’t read it so I got the $8.99 ones for free.
Please be honest. You’re going to ruin couponing for everyone!
This would be the cashier’s fault if she didn’t read the coupon, not the customer. I find a lot of cashiers to be so indignant about coupons that if you try to correct them, they bite your head off. If a store doesn’t train their employees properly I don’t see how that translates into Christina ruining couponing for anyone. A little kindness goes a long way.
Thank you Chris. I looked at the coupon to see if it had a restrictions and I did not see the price restriction. I went to my second walgreens and thats when it was pointed out to me. I wasn’t trying to beat the system if that’s what you think. the cashier didn’t notice it and neither did I! So like Chris said I don’t get how a mistake two people made is ruining couponing.
Gain dish soap is $.99 with the in ad coupon at Walgreens. There was a $1 off Gain detergent coupon with my Sunday paper. The picture shows laundry detergent, but it just says detergent. I used TWO of them at Wags today and got FREE dish soap =)
Pretty sure that q is meant for the laundry detergent as the dish liquid has its own q’s. I’ve seen this discussed on another blog somewhere and I think it is a misuse of this coupon.
Misuse or not…they took it. The lady at my WAGS always scrutinizes my coupons…if it got past her, then its legit.
Would anyone be intrested in meeting up and having a coupon swap and trade get together? I live in St. Louis. I don’t have children and always have tons of coupons for baby items that I don’t use.
Where are you located at in St. Louis? I live in Troy, MO but I am often in the North County area during the week. I don’t have any babies but I might be interested in meeting up every once in a while to swap/trade or just share some couponing deals/ideas. I went to Dollar General yesturday and got $.25 Sunny D-SS 5/15, $.25 Mustard SS 5/15, $.50e Spic and Span coupons.com (green spray).
Also walmart and got free travel pert plus shampoo, free travel sensodyn toothpaste, free winkinsons razors,$.64 huggies wipes!
One stop shop… Wal-Mart.
I have never done this before but today I went to Wal-Mart and priced matched everything in my cart. Total after I priced matched was around $70.00, I am guessing if I didn’t price match it would have been closer to $100.00. I then used coupons on everthing that I priced matched and paid around $30.00.
I had all the adds with me to price match as well as it all written down on a piece of paper and the cashier never once asked to see the adds, she took my word for it. A lot easier than I thought it would be.
Today at walmart in arnold and got a few things and one really good deal I got was the Adams flea and tick control collar was 1.48 (was around 1.50 but not 100% sure was 1.48) and I asked the cashier about using the $5/1 coupon that came out a few weeks ago and she said yes thats included so I had over $3 overage used towards the rest of my purchase. walmart seems very coupon friendly. Im new at this so I was very proud.

Im almost positive that it was the 5/1/11 red plum. It does not say excludes collars thats why I was able to use it. Ive seen on a couple websites that there is also a $3/1 or $5/1 forget amt but they say excludes collars thats why I asked cashier.

At Wal-Mart in Ofallon this morning (Wednesday, 18th), I saw that they had the Totinoes Party Pizzas on sale for $0.89. (Normally $1.25) If you use the $1.00 off wyb 5, that would make the pizzas only $0.69 each! Plus, alot of them have the redbox codes on them (you need 2 boxes for 1 redbox code).

I went to Target this morning to use up the last of my Target $2 off coupons on any Revlon beauty tools since it’ll be expiring in a few days. Well, I purchased a tweezer and nail clipper and the catalina machine gave me (3) $2 off Revlon beauty tool coupons and (2) $5 off any two Revlon beauty tool coupons! So, I got $16 worth of coupons for some more free Revlon beauty tools! Plus, the coupons don’t expire until July/August 2011! So, it was a nice surprise for me today!!

If it helps, I’ve been getting new revlon tool coupons every time I buy some for about 2 months at the Target in Jennings (NoCo) on Lucas and Hunt and Halls Ferry.
Dollar General had 2 pk. of Reach toothbrushes for $2.00 used the $2 off coupon and both were free! Also, there was some mens nivea body wash on clearance for $1. With the buy 2 get 1 wash free coupon you can score 3 Nivea Body wash for $2.00!
Also, at Schnucks there were some $0.25 peelie coupons on the Pop-Tarts, so after those doubled, each box came to $1.38!!
Hy-Vee has bags of Nestle Fun Size candy bars on sale for $1.99 with the store coupon from this week’s ad. A couple weeks ago when the Butterfinger Snackerz deal was going on at Walgreen’s I printed a bunch of $1.50/1 bag coupons by searching other zip codes (they say “Available at Publix” which isn’t even a store anywhere near my area). That doesn’t mean you can ONLY use the coupon at Publix though, so if anyone has a Hy-Vee & happened to also print & hold these coupons (I haven’t checked whether they’re still available, but I doubt it) then you can get bags for $.49! Only problem is, the store coupon says “1 coupon per customer” so I guess I have to make multiple trips & can’t just do multiple transactions…unless I get lucky & get a clueless cashier.
Okay, so here’s a helpful hint that I had to learn about the hard way. Sat. I bought 4 newspapers, for the smartsource coupons. I actually cut the band around the newspapers, so I just checked the top newspaper to see how many I wanted, then just bought the next three also. When I got home, my 3 bottom newspapers only had red plum inserts!!! $6 wasted because I want cheap food, not more free deodorant. I called STL Post Dispatch, to inform them and they said that stores are 2nd priority in getting coupons in the newspapers. I asked if anyone delivers the Sunday newspaper on Sat. and she said its up to the deliverer. So, I’m now going to have to go through all the newspapers I want at the store to be sure I’m getting everything
Bummer. So, be sure you check for all your coupons! I normally do, but since I cut the band around them, I thought I was covered. 
Some stores will take them as a return/exchange if you tell them why you don’t want them.
When I started… I bought lots of newspapers and ended up with a lot of unused coupons. You can print a lot of free coupons to use from your computer. Also another mistake I made in the beginning… I printed every coupon and multiplies. Ended up not using them .. A lot of wasted ink. This site and wildforwags will usually show you the available coupons you can print for the good deals. Also if it’s something I really use or the family likes I will print it and wait for a sale. Make sure sign up for proctor gamble coupons and others to have mailed to your house. Also sign up for samples because you always get high price coupons sent with them. And watch out for coupons while your shopping. I got a whole stack of 1.00 of 2 12 packs of soda from my walgreens clerk. Paying only 1.52 a 12 pack after doing the tape deal. Stocked up on soda for the summer! Also having way too many coupons can be overwhelming. Well least for me!! Couponing is lots of work bur you do save $$$$$! And as long as you’re not buying a lot of things you don’t need!
I had the same problem except it was my delivered paper! I was really frustrated!
My delivered paper was damaged and I called the paper. Got sent to an automated system, but aparently they credited my account for the paper. I still had one insert that wasn’t damaged. My friend told me that if you call the same day as the problem, they can do something about it (I dont’ know if that means get you a new one or if you will always only get the credit) but at least I didn’t waste the money on a paper that wasn’t all there.
I have also returned papers to walgreens that didn’t have all of the coupon inserts. They let me just exchange it for one with all of them.
Anyone in the Florissant or St. Charles area that can help me organize coupons and grocery shop.
I live to far out, but maybe this will help you out. I saw you had another posting.If you been watching the show Extreme Couponing show, it not that easy to score $600.00 for free. but you will get alot of great deals and some will be free. And you will have work your coupons to get the best prices.
1) Get sales adds
2) Match sale items with your coupons
3) Make a list of the sale item & number of coupons you have.
4) Some store do take their coupon with the other coupons so you can stack them together for a great deals
5) If you print coupons do not copy them. The store will not payed & it has a lot of not taking them for that reason.
6) When put a item in your cart get the coupon or coupons out so you will not forget to hand them to the cashier.
7) Carie’s blog is great for learning how and she has a lot of GREAT deals.
Hopes this helps, you can learn how it will take time a first then it will
better each time you use a coupon.

Janice, how do you find out if they will take more than one coupon together? I know some coupons say they can’t be combined so do you just look for that?
Stores like Target and Walgreens, check on the coupon Policy for the store.
(You can not stack 2 coupons alike, my son gave me that question. he is still learning, but he is doing better at couponing.) Most stores have the policy on line with the store sale ads.You can ask the service desk also. But you may get a different answer, Best to print the policy and keep it with you. I just learned that my local store except a coupon with the sale coupon. I try and keep my policy in with my coupons.Keep a watch for changes of the store policy.If the coupon states not combine then you can not and some say a limit so you may have to make more than 1 transaction. But thats better than trips back and forth to the same store. If they say only 1 transaction, what I do is go put my items I paid for in my car and go back in the store. That way I am a new customer. Carie has a place on her blog with store policy that you can print. Hope this helps. Sometimes new cashiers make the rules up and that’s when you will need to show the policy .LOL

The Target on Hwy K in O’Fallon has Smuckers ice cream toppings on clearance on an end cap close to the freezer section. They had chocolate syrup for $1.56 and hard shell for $1.32. Add to that a coupon for $1/2 and it cost me $0.94 each.
Dollar General is having their $5 off $25 purchase this Saturday Only (5/21). Coupon is available at their website.
I have my list and coupons ready for it!! They also will still have the 18oz bottle of Kraft BBQ sauce on sale for $1. Attached to it is a coupon for $2 off of the 8qt canister of Koolaid or Country Time Lemonade mix when you purchase 2 bottles of the bbq sauce. I stocked up last weekend and am doing the same again this weekend!
I forgot to add that the Koolaid retails for $2.50, so you will get the two bottles of bbq sauce and a canister of koolaid for $2.50.

I got some at Target near where they sell Pokemon cards
I couldn’t find them at any Target or Walmart, so eventually I went to a baseball card store.
I got all of my plastic sheets (baseball card size and full page size) at Target. They had the full page ones on clearance when I went so that helped out. The baseball size ones were at the front of the store by all the baseball/Pokemon/etc card at the very bottom of the shelves (it took a little searching to actually find them but they had lots).
I’ve found these recently at Simply a dollar and Dollar Tree. 10 sheets for $1.
I’m on O’Fallon Mo…anyone know where the inserts are cheap? OfficeMax has 10 for over $3…little pricey.
I purchased my at Office Max they are near the binders but if you can’t find them the staff is very helpful. They have baseball cards holders which hold 9 per page and business card holders which hold 10 per page. They are kinda expensive however i bought them when they were buy 2 get 1 free and had a 15% coupon in the paper.
I live in Imperial and I got mine at Hobby Lobby. They were kind of hard to find because they were on an end cap. The sheets that were sold by themselves were expensive, but I bought an entire binder that had 100 sheets in it. It was priced $20, but then I used a 40% off coupon. The end cap was near the model cars and had a bunch of coin collecting items on it. The binders, there were a bunch, were near the bottom. Good luck!

I got mine at Wal-mart for $5 and change. There are a ton in the package. They were in one of the check out lanes, on a bottom shelf with the baseball card stuff.
I looked today at arnold walmart went to all the registers looked extra good near baseball and pokeman card aisles. Im bummed. And if I wasnt looking for them I would see easily lol.

Kelloggs Frosted Mini Wheats touch of fruit in the middle (wow, long name) is included in the $1.88 sale at Schnucks. There was a printable for $1/1, plus if you got the vocalpoint taste drive and coupons, there are more $1/1 and a B1G1. So, if you like that cereal… get a few boxes for $.88.
I also go some lunchable sandwich combos for free at Walgreens. They have the 2/$3 plus $1RR and I had some printables and two different ones from the paper for $1/1 sandwich combo. So, If you buy 2, us 2 $1/1, pay $1 for both and get 1RR.

I’m sorry, I can’t remember for sure, but it may have been facebook? I’m thinking that was the one for lunchables with fruit though, and those are not included in the sale, at least that I’ve seen.
oh, oops, if you meant that cereal one, I’m guessing it’s gone, but probably vocalpoint (I’m not positive). I just always print the high value cereal coupons. I’m not in need of a lot of cereal, so I just buy it when I can get a really good deal.
I have a question! If I have a B2G1 Free coupon and 2-$1off coupons, can I use all 3 at Target when I buy 3?
You should be able to so long as your $1 off coupons are $1/1 each, since they are going toward the items you are buying to get the thrid one free with your other coupon

Shop N SAve Coupon inside of Entertainment guide. I see it says $5 off of a gift card, does that gift card have to be any certain denomination? What is the best way to maximize these savings?
It’s a $5 off $50 purchase coupon, so what I do is…I buy a $50 Gift Card and use the $5 off coupon and pay $45, then when I shop and buy $50 in items I use another $5 off $50 coupon (especially on $10/$50 Thursdays) then use my other coupons and then pay with my $50 Gift card that I got for only $45

Festus Walmart currently has a lady standing at the dog food section handing out $1 off coupons for milk bone minis and milos kitchen all natural dog treats. $1.98 after coupon for each!
Schnucks in Wentzville has coupons for a free salsa when you buy two tostitos chips taped to the bags. I combined this with the $1 off chips and the free pepsi max when you buy chips and salsa from the moments to save insert. I ended up with 6 bags of chips, 3 salsa and 3 pepsi max for $12. I also used my propel coupons to score free propel. The coupon wording is a little weird, “$1 off one propel or propel 6 pack.” I wasn’t sure if you could use them on the individual propel’s priced at $.50 each so I asked the manager and she said it was fine. I ordered some extra coupons so I had 30 coupons and got 60 propel’s for free!

Yes, I tried it first with just two coupons and it worked fine- no beeps. I decided to order some more coupons and ended up with a great deal. No beeps the second time around either.
FREE TEMPTATIONS CAT TREATS!
I was at walmart and on the end of one of the pet aisles was a few bins labeled 94 cents. There were some tennis balls,frisbees and temptations cat treats. They are in a yellow 1.7 oz bag and they’re the ones that are crunchy outside, soft inside & chicken flavor. ANYWAYS, I had 2 $1 off any temptations cats treats, makes them FREE:D I’m not sure if this was a regular price or sale, I hope someone else can get this deal at their walmart!
Granite city walmart has the Airwick freshmatic ultra on clerance for 4.00 and there is a 4.00 off coupon ,I dont remember which insert though..
At the Schunucks in Wentzville they have a display of household scissors for 1.00 and a 1.00 off coupon above them. I didn’t even notice- the cashier asked if I wanted free scissors with my purchase. Great unexpected freebie!
I was going to wait and put this on the new one for this week since it is about this week’s Walgreens ad, but it’s not up and I want people to save lots of money! You can actually use 3 coupons on the Bayer aspirin! The Walgreens manager told me that the coupon in the ad isn’t really a coupon, it’s like a sale price for $2 off. Then the $1 off coupon from the paper and another $1 off coupon from the Walgreens booklet! They owed me $1 for each one I bought!
