Hi went to Schnucks today to look at a few prices & potential deals. I saw Whiskers cat treats @ 1.25 each and I have a coupon for .75/2 which will double. I saw Tidy cat liter @ 2.49 and I have a recent coupon for 1/1. I also saw Blistex on sale for .99 and I found a recent coupon for 35/1. Purex laundry soap is also on sale for $3.50 & I have 1/1 coupons (don’t remember where I got them from though). With all of the doubling, I look forward to some good deals at the end of the week.

There was also $1/1 superpretzel coupon in one of the All You magazines. I think it was in a couple of issues ago. It expires on Jan 31st.

Does Schnucks still have those? I couldn’t find them the last time I looked but maybe I missed them as my local store rearranged everything…

Reply

21 Brenda January 29, 2013 at 5:57 pm

I just checked today. Only some stores do I’ve noticed.

Reply

22 Robyn Thomas January 29, 2013 at 6:43 pm

My Schnucks rearranged the pharmacy area recently also. They added an entire endcap of all products being sold for $1.00 each. This is where I have found the toothpaste for $1.00 recently.

How do you know that the Bailey’s won’t double?

Reply

Cristi 27 Cristi January 29, 2013 at 5:33 pm

On the coupon it states do not double…although it may depend on the store. Last time some were doubling coupons that had it marked not to.

Reply

Cristi 28 Cristi January 29, 2013 at 7:30 pm

Actually this coupon should double due to the code and not the wording :)

Reply

29 Jan January 31, 2013 at 1:25 pm

The bailey’s is on sale at dierbergs for $1.67. It did ‘double’ but only to get the item free — no money maker. But free is free!!
Also the Campbell’s skillet sauces are on sale for $2.49 less the $1 off coupon doubled makes them only .49! Nice for quick meals. This price was at schnuck’s.

So does the double coupons start at 12 a.m. on Thursday?

I am new to the couponing world and was so disappointed with the recent triple coupons that shelves were cleared before I had a chance to get to the store! lol

My schnucks (Collinsville, IL) did not have the Reach floss for $1.25
They were $1.75, so I didn’t get that deal :(
They also didn’t have the Jingos, there was a sign up on the shelf that said “due to a production problem, we are currently out of Jingos”
But I did manage to stock up on some pizza rolls and party pizzas, which is awesome with teenagers in the house!
