SWAGBUCKS – MAKING SENSE OF IT + MAKING THE MOST OF IT

I thought I would write a post about Swagbucks and how to make the most of it! I personally have been a “Swagbucker” for a while and I truly love it, but then again, I love FREE stuff!

WHAT ARE SWAGBUCKS?
Swagbucks are digital dollars that you earn by doing online searches of the web. The results are from Google and Ask.com so you are still able to find what you are looking for, just like when you do a google search! As you search you randomly win Swagbucks. It’s FREE, easy, and fun, and the PRIZES are amazing! You can earn gift cards and other prizes. There is NO obligation or credit cards are required!

WHAT CAN I GET FOR USING SWAGBUCKS?
There are all kinds of prizes you can get with your Swagbucks! I turn in my Swagbucks for Gift Cards! This saves me money down the road, because I don’t have to pull money out of my pocket to buy something and the Gift Cards were FREE…they just cost me a few minutes of my time searching the web, which I am always doing anyway! There are a lot of different Gift Cards, but my faves are:
1300 Swagbucks = $10 Starbucks Gift Card
450 Swagbukcs = $5 Amazon Gift Cards

$5 Amazon Gift Cards are great! You save them up and let’s say you wanted to subscribe to ALL YOU Magazine this month which is $15 for 1 year… if you had (3) $5 Amazon Gift Cards, you could get it FREE, or save them for Christmas time!

HOW CAN I GET MORE SWAGBUCKS?
1) SEARCH
I notice that I usually win 10 or 20 Swagbucks in the morning right after 2-4 searches, then I get another 10-20 Swagbucks in the afternoon, and sometimes I even get them in the evening as well. If I switch to a different computer, sometimes I can get additional Swagbucks after a couple searches.

2) SET SWAGBUCKS AS HOME PAGE
When I first signed up with Swagbucks, I kept forgetting to use it. I started earning more Swagbucks when I set it up as my Home Page, it’s a reminder to do my searches.

3) DOWNLOAD THE SWAGBUCKS TOOLBAR
If you download the toolbar, you’ll get exclusive messages and SwagCodes. You will get messages as to when SwagCodes are available, Plus the toolbar makes it easier to do a quick search.

4) GO THROUGH THE SPECIAL OFFER SECTION
Go to the top left side of the homepage, click on Ways to Earn link, then Special Offers. There is a blue box to the right of the screen “no obligation offers”. Skip through like 7 offers, then a screen will pop up stating that you have won Swagbucks!

5) SHOP
You get rewarded with Swagbucks when you shop through their site, they have a wide variety of different retailers like Macys, Target, iTunes, to name a few, but you name it I’m pretty sure they have it. You get Swagbucks when you spend.

6) SUBMIT A CREATIVE POLL IDEA
Swagbucks has all kinds of crazy polls! If you have a creative poll idea, send it to them at pollideas@swagbucks.com. If they use your poll, you get 10 Swagbucks.

7) REFER A FRIEND
Invite a friend to join Swagbucks. When you refer a friend to Swagbucks, you get rewarded with Swagbucks as well.
