I did this deal today, well I sent my husband, He came back with Ants in the pants, candy land, chutes and ladders and memory. He spent $16 and he handed me a $10 gift card. I said what is tht for he said I thought you would know. So I am not sure what happened but he didn’t spend $35, but he got a gift card. Just wanted to share.

There is simply no reason in the world to NOT give a game as a gift this year with deals like this.
We did this yesterday too. The $10 giftcards are printing when you spend $35 BEFORE sales/coupons/etc. I got Hi-Ho-Cheerio, Cootie, Candy Land, and Chutes & Ladders for $16 in store, but since those would be over $35 regular price, the $10 gc printed! Once I send in for the $8 mail in rebate ($2 times 4 games), it will be a $2 money maker! Great deal. Even better since I worked these in with the coupon in yesterday’s paper for a $10 giftcard when you spend $75.
Just returned from Toy R us. The price did not come up $35 but $36.99. That would have been okay but they said they ran out of $10 gift cards so we would not get that either. I told them I just heard this on the KPLR 11 news yesterday at 4. I also printed & took with me to the St. Peters location. He (Chris) rang the manager and was told they were out. They would not honor this at all. These were going to be donated but I was upset and refused to buy any of them. I will not shop at Toys R us and I will try your website one more time to see if it actually works. Thank you
My apologies…The $35 is pre tax, since each area has a different tax rate, it’s hard to give a proper tax amount. Running out of gift cards is ridiculous. They advertise the offer, they should be prepared to honor it through the week instead of running out in 4 days.
It is never my intention to send anyone on a wild goose chase, time is valuable to all of us, but unfortunately some things are beyond my control.
