ONLINE COUPONS SWAP
I was unable to use the tide coupon on the $0.97 ones at 2 Walmarts today.
Out of curiosity…did they say why you couldn’t use it?? There is no size specification on the coupon so that should not have been the issue
May I ask which wal-marts you went to?
I went to the Walmart near Harvester on 94 and they would not let me use the Tide coupoon on the travel size. I said there is no size limit on the coupon and she called a manager over. He read the entire coupon and said it doesn’t say a size but if it wont scan it is for a reason. I said never mind and kept the coupon. I never make a big stink about it, because I don’t want to give us couponers a bad name.
Same thing happened to me just now, there was only 1 left on the shelf, which i grabbed, and it spit a piece of paper out and said it needed to be in the picture. She didn’t ring up one of my .97 cat food bowls, so i just took my coupon and basically got the tide for free anyway. I was in no mood to start arguing over a picture. I’ll go back tomorrow and try again
I did get cascade though. I don’t think they’ll ever restock the bengay
Same problem here at the Maplewood Walmart. The lady said the computer wouldn’t allow it because it was a single load/sample size. Then proceeded to scold me for my “extreme couponing” (I had three tides and three cascades) Last time I found the travel size tides at Target, definitely going there in the future.
I was at Wal-Mart in St Peters Mo to take advantage of the $1.00 off the $0.97 3 pack cascades dishwashing pacs and decided to look around. That is when I noticed the Tide laundry detergent in the travel size bins. I made sure I read the coupon(s) and they were all good. However I only did 4 of like coupons on the P&G Items. It states that, so I followed all rules on the cascade & Tide. On the Bic razors and Degree Deodorant I was able to do all 10 that I had coupons for. I plan on donating all the items anyway. Thats why I went with the cheapest razors I could find. This will be a pretty good size donation when I get it
all together. I also will be donating alot of school supply items. Please keep us updated Holly on reason why you could not use Tide coupon. I am curious.
I have not been able to use my Tide coupons at walmart either. The register beeped and spit out some piece of paper and they told me I couldn’t use them. Is there something we can say or do?
I used mine and know a few others who used thiers and there was no problem. I would suggest they read the coupon. maybe have a manager read it. The computer is not always right. We know that……..lol
Can anyone tell me if these sample size tide for HE washers?
It does not say nor have the HE logo on them. I got them, and I have a new HE washer, so now I am going to add these to the donate pile.
Never hesitate to ask for the manager of the manager …usually when I get to the register I put the game face on and look pre-annoyed. Then they tend to do their best to satisfy the coupon because I look like I could cause a scene. I know that sounds terrible but over the years I have been hassled enuff by cashiers that act like I am stealing from them.

Was unable to use degree $1 off on travel size bc the coupon stated PREMIUM. Will try again bc I WANT that!! Lol.. Got tide this morning, went back again and they weren’t accepting the coupons, she had to manually enter it. No cascade
Shauna- There are 2 different degree deodorant coupons in the 7/31 paper. One for premium, and the other doesn’t specify a certain type. Hope that helps!
I was not able to use all my tide coupon, but i went to the service and asked, she said she would do it this time, then said. “well i get my dollar back anyways” I wanted to say then what does it matter? She said it was cause there was a bottle on the coupon and the 97 cents was a packet. it really makes me want to stick with my good ol’ wags!
The cashier told me the same thing .. it was a bottle on the coupon and I was purchasing a packet and plus the coupon wouldn’t scan.
I went to Target in OC, CA. Picked up from the travel section … 3 degree deodorants .97 – $1/1 (cashier didn’t want to take at first because of the size which the coupon does not specify) 6 of the J&J Red Cross first aide kits .97 – $1.50/2, 2 oral B dental floss .97 – $.75/1, 1 reach dental floss .97 – $1/1. They would not take the Tide coupon because it would not scan even after she called a mgr. Didn’t want to make a stink about it so I took those coupons back and figure I would try it elsewhere …..
Same thing happen to me with the Tide at Walmart, they wouldn’t take it because of the picture and I went to another and it was the same thing again. This was West Florrisant and St. Charles Rock Rd. Thanks anyway it was worth a try.
I tried to use the Tide q’s at my Walmart in Stoughton, WI. The computer beeped and then spit out a slip of paper. I then had the manager come over and her and the cashier both proceeded to tell me that it has to be used on a bottle of Tide. These people have no clue do they? Wouldn’t it be something if you always had to purchase exactley what was in the picture? It just makes me so irratated. They woudld have been reinbursed anyway my the manufactuer.
My favorite right now is the travel advil. It says it can’t be used on trial size, not travel size and they rang up through the register, but you know how the Walmart employees love to read each coupon now. They still rang it up while they lectured me on how because it’s the smallest size at Walmart, it is their trial size, even if they make smaller sizes at gas stations. I still got all my advil (will be donated, I got 14, because I had 7 coupons…don’t worry there were plenty left at each register, I went in and took a couple out of each line). I hate fealing like a criminal when I shop with coupons.
